Southwold Golf Club is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), open to the whole community, which means we have:

Membership that is open to all without discrimination - regardless of age, sex, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs.

  • Facilities that are open to all members without discrimination

  • Fees that do not represent a significant obstacle to membership or use of facilities

  • In addition, we offer full annual membership at a maximum price of £520, inclusive of equipment hire, for any existing or prospective members who are unable to pay more due to their financial circumstances.  Those who wish to take advantage of this reduced price membership can apply in confidence to the Club Secretary/Manager. This category of membership is available upon satisfaction that the full cost of membership is not affordable.

Support for people of modest means.

  • We firmly believe that financial circumstances should not be a barrier to playing golf. In accordance with CASC guidelines, we keep our subscriptions at levels that do not pose a significant obstacle to participation.

  • For individuals who wish to join but cannot afford our standard subscription rates, we offer a dedicated Concessionary Membership package.

  • Cost - this package ensures that the total cost of membership, including access to essential equipment, does not exceed £520 per annum (£10 per week).

  • How to Apply - this option is available to any current or prospective member who can demonstrate that the standard cost of membership is not affordable to them. Applications are treated with the utmost confidentiality. If you would like to apply for our modest means rate or find out more about how we support accessible golf, please contact our Club Secretary at secretary@southwoldgolfclub.co.uk or call on 01502 723234.
